In 1985, Custom Freight Systems, Inc. was put together with one goal in mind: operate a Class “A” company and give Class “A” service at an affordable price. The name was not picked out of the air — it was chosen because every freight need is unique, and we build our service around yours.

Owned by three friends, we have grown into what we are today. With 30 to 50 trucks on the road on any given day, we have the resources to handle your product safely and on time. We operate two California terminals — one in the north, one in the south — and an owner is available at each location.

We realized early what automation could do for us and for our customers. Today that means online pickup requests straight to dispatch, online inventory, and self-service shipment tracking with proof of delivery — so you always know where your freight stands.
